A note from the artist

As I look at these pieces lined up together, I imagine my younger self reaching out through me to create them.

I feel the uninhibited fury of my 7-year-old self slashing colors across the canvas.

These pieces are for my child self: the one who was harmed by so many, whose voice was never heard.
